Reflecting back on my time in the TWU graduate program I can confidently say that I have grown in my knowledge and understanding of child life and what it means to work in a field such as a child life. Through creating this professional portfolio not only was I able to reflect back on my three semesters at Texas Woman's University I was able to gain a clearer understanding of the ACLP competencies and create goals in many different areas of my life. Gathering and creating a site where my professional understanding of various topics pertaining to child life has allowed me to see the importance of child life and how it can impact infants, children, youth, and families. I plan to use this portfolio as a working document where I will add future work and accolades.
